After graduating from Regis High School in 1973, Mr. Pesce earned his Bachelor's degrees in History and Social Science at Fordham University, College at Lincoln Center (magna cum laude). He continued his studies at Fordham Law School, participating in the William Hughes Mulligan Moot Court Competition and coaching the undergraduate Gannon Debate Team, graduating with his J.D. in 1980.
After interning at the Manhattan District Attorney's Office (Appeals Bureau) in the summer of 1979, Mr. Pesce was appointed an Assistant District Attorney in Suffolk County, New York where he tried over 20 jury and non-jury cases. In 1983 he became associated with the Law Firm of Patrick F. Adams , P.C., where the general practice of law included defending carriers' insureds and self-insureds in personal injury and property matters. In 1987 Mr. Pesce became associated with the law firm of Ayers & Thompson, P.C., where he specialized in construction accident, Labor Law, and Products Liability cases. When that firm dissolved eleven years later Mr. Pesce became associated with the firm of McCabe, Collins, McGeough & Fowler, LLP in Mineola, New York, where he continued to represent several valued clients, such as the Biro Manufacturing Company and York Scaffold Equipment Corporation, whom he has represented since 1987 and still continues to represent. He also concentrated on representing municipalities and school districts.
In the fall of 2000 Mr. Pesce joined with Anthony Fischetti, his high school classmate, in founding Fischetti & Pesce, LLP.
Mr. Pesce is admitted to the Bar of the State of New York (1981) as well as to several federal courts, namely, the United States District Court, Southern and Eastern Districts of New York (1983) and the Second Circuit Court of Appeals (1983).
Mr. Pesce is a member of the New York State Bar Association, the Nassau County Bar Association, the New York State Trial Lawyers Association, the Columbian Lawyers Association and the Regis Bar
